Our Methods

At RAW Solutions, the method we choose is always based on safety, efficiency and what’s best for the turbine and the task at hand. Our teams are trained in multiple access and inspection techniques, allowing us to adapt to different turbine models, working environments and client requirements.

Inspection Methods

We carry out a wide range of inspections to give a complete and accurate overview of blade and turbine condition.

Inspection Types

  • Internal and external blade inspections
  • Lightning Protection System (LPS) inspections
  • Tower and nacelle inspections
  • Pre- and post-repair documentation
  • Condition assessments for planning and repair strategy

Inspection Access Options

  • Rope access inspections for close, detailed assessments
  • Drone inspections for fast, safe and no-contact surveys
  • Camera inspections for targeted visual checks and documentation

By combining different inspection methods, we ensure thorough reporting, minimal downtime and accurate planning for the next steps.

Repair Methods

We offer multiple access solutions for blade repairs, allowing us to work safely and efficiently across a wide range of turbine types and conditions.

Access Methods for Repair

  • Rope access repairs – fast, flexible and safe for most blade tasks
  • Blade platform access – ideal for larger repairs, controlled environments and extended work periods
  • MEWP repairs (sky lift / cherry picker) – suitable for low-height turbines and specific site conditions
  • Ground based repairs – used for large-scale or structurally complex repairs where blades are removed and repaired in a controlled environment, including construction of temporary habitats.
